Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School program is offered yearly in the early part of the summer. This week long program of lessons, skits, crafts, singing, snacks and fun goes from 9:00 a.m. - noon and is routinely run by over 100 youth and adult volunteers from our church. Vacation Bible School's theme this year is "Welcome to God's Big Backyard - Where Kids Have a Blast Serving Jesus!" June 23-27, 2008 from 9 a.m. - noon for ages 3 through 7th grade. Get ready for an outdoor adventure that starts in your own backyard and gets bigger each day as kids take the love of Jesus into their neighborhoods and communities. Every day has been planned to include wonderful Bible stories, skits, super songs, fun, crafts, games, and snacks.
Our theme verse is Mark 12:29-31, "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: "Hear O Israel the Lord your God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
VBS Training Dates for our VOLUNTEER STAFF
For those of you who have volunteered to work our VBS, please plan to attend ONE of the training dates. Come either Saturday, June 7 at 9:00 a.m. or on Monday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. Both sessions will be up in the Youth Center. Thank you!
