Serving Our Local High School Youth
This semester, Bethany Lutheran Church is seeking to support Long Beach Young Life (https://longbeach.younglife.org) as they reach out to local high school students with the gospel. LB Young Life is a para-church, evangelistic, organization that seeks to connect high school students in West and Central Long Beach, specifically at Cabrillo and Renaissance High Schools, with Jesus and the a local church.
As a result of COVID, LB Young Life, which is normally hosted on high school campuses, is hosting their monthly high school and middle school gatherings, also known as Club, at The Gathering Lutheran Church. We are looking for volunteers to help them with setting up before Club, tear down after Club, and also to donate funds for pizza during Club on November 15 and December 6.
