Worship Update:

While our Cypress campus is still a work in progress, it is able to welcome worshippers again! Our midweek Wednesday Lenten services are being held on the Cypress campus and starting on Palm Sunday, March 29th, we will once again hold Sunday morning worship services on the Cypress campus. Starting on Palm Sunday Bethany Lutheran’s Sunday morning worship schedule will be:  

• On the Long Beach campus at 8:00 and 9:30AM.
• On the Cypress campus at 11:10AM.

LWML / MAC

Holy Cross Lutheran Church had an active LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) charter for most of its congregational ministry life.  LWML is an officially recognized service organization of the LCMS.  LMWL gatherings focus on promoting missions and serving the Lord through the Church.  Holy Cross’ LWML gathering was historically called MAC (Missionary Activity Circle). 

As the Iconic and Historic Holy Cross sanctuary nears completion of its remodel, MAC will return to meeting in the balcony of the Bethany Lutheran's Cypress campus on Tuesday mornings from 10:00AM to Noon.  The gatherings start with a cup of coffee, devotions, fellowship and conversation.  The gathering then proceeds to work on various projects such as quilts for World Relief.  Historically the group has also made other crafts to be sold at a boutique and bake sale MAC hosts.  Proceeds have gone to: congregational projects, International Missions, local community needs, and LWML expenses. The  last Tuesday of the month the group gathers at a local restaurant for lunch.   All women are welcome to join MAC ANY TUESDAY starting in March as  together MAC “Serves the Lord with Gladness.”
