A Special Musical - Thursday, December 18th at 6:30PM: No Wednesday Advent service on December 17th. HOWEVER…you are invited to join us on Thursday, December 18th at 6:30PM as our 3rd-5th graders present an Advent/Christmas musical, “The Mystery of Simon Shepherd” in the School Gym.
- Simon Shepherd is missing! It's census time in Bethlehem and Simon is nowhere to be found. Bethlehem's best judge Judge Trudy Justice is the only one who can preside over such a baffling case, while lawyers Matt Hemlock and F. Lee Maybe fight it out to find out whodunit. There's a suspicious Innkeeper and Caesar August himself is summoned away from his palace as a witness to solve this riddle. Come join us on Thursday, December 18th at 9:00 A.M. and 6:30 P.M. to watch Bethany Lutheran's third, fourth, and fifth grade students performance of "The Mystery of Simon Shepherd"! Clever and touching songs are woven together with entertaining dialog and a plot with some surprise twists... with a beautiful conclusion which really brings the heart of the Christmas story to the center.
