Giving Tuesday is a Global Day of Generosity takes place Tuesday, November 29, 2022. The day serves as a wonderful opportunity for people around the world to come together to thank, help, give, show kindness, and share what they have with those in need. Over the past ten years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Even in times of economic uncertainty, we each have a deep reserve of generosity and the ability to make a difference with our time, kindness, skills, and voices in addition to charitable donations. We are encouraging anyone who can to consider contributing on November 29—whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes—every act of generosity counts.
Bethany Lutheran is a generous community and this year we are participating in Giving Tuesday in order to raise funds to enhance our Sound Equipment for our Gym, to improve the experience of events that Gather and Connect our community on our campus.
Our gym is more than a gym: it is a performance space, a gathering space, and has even served as a worship space! We hope to make this space even more functional by adding a ceiling-mounted projector, a remote controlled screen and enhanced "surround-sound" capability so that even our littlest performers can be heard in the back of the gym. Our Giving Tuesday goal for this project is $5000. If you are so inclined, you can help up us reach our goal on November 29, 2022 with a donation of any amount. No gift is too small.
