Q: Your school is called “Bethany Lutheran.” What is a “Lutheran” anyway?
A: “Lutherans” are Christians who respond to the love of the Triune God...Father, Son and Holy Spirit...who has revealed Himself through the Bible. ;“Lutherans” accept and teach the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone. We are affiliated with the Pacific Southwest District of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
