Bethany Lutheran Church offers a three year Confirmation program to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. We believe that Confirmation plays a vital role in the lives of our youth and families. It helps to promote spiritual formation and cultivates peer-to-peer and multi-generational faith connections.
This multiple year program is all-inclusive in its teachings. Your child(ren) will learn about the absolute truth of Scripture, Lutheran Theology and Doctrine, and how to actively live in the faith given to them through the power of the Holy Spirit. We cannot stress enough the importance of participating in all aspects of this program. We feel this Confirmation program is an integral component in the partnership between church and home in the faith formation of your child(ren). Student & Parent Information Meeting - September 16th
Dear Parents of New and Returning Confirmation Students:
The time is quickly approaching for Confirmation classes to begin here at Bethany. Bethany Lutheran Church offers a three-year Confirmation program for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. We believe that Confirmation plays a vital role in the lives of our youth and families. It helps promote spiritual formation while cultivating peer-to-peer and multi-generational faith connections.

We have scheduled a Student/Parent Informational Meeting for all families (new and returning) interested in Bethany Lutheran’s Confirmation Program. This is an important meeting as we prepare for the year ahead, and we ask that at least one parent attend with their student.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 16, from 6:30–8:30 p.m.
To make the evening as helpful and efficient as possible, we will divide the meeting into three parts:
6:30–6:55 p.m. – Returning Confirmation Students and Parents - Returning families will receive important updates for the upcoming year, including calendar highlights, expectations, and program information.
7:10–7:40 p.m. – All Confirmation Families (New & Returning) - All families will come together for a welcome, opening devotion, vision for Confirmation, introductions, and information that applies to everyone.
7:40–8:30 p.m. – New Incoming Students - New families will receive an in-depth overview of the Confirmation program, including curriculum, expectations, registration information, and time for questions.
Arrival Times:
- Returning families, please arrive by 6:25 p.m.
- Families with a new incoming student, please arrive between 6:55–7:05 p.m. to allow time for check-in before the joint session begins.
We pray that you will make every effort to attend the portions of the meeting that apply to your family.
Looking ahead, the first day of Confirmation class will be Wednesday, September 30, at 6:30 p.m. All Confirmation classes will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8:00 p.m.
We use online forms for Confirmation registration. Please use the QR Code below to complete all forms needed to enroll your child(ren) in Confirmation prior to the Student/Parent Informational Meeting. Completing these forms ahead of time will help expedite the enrollment process.
Finally, the fee for the Confirmation program is $40 per student. This fee helps cover the cost of materials used throughout the year, as well as other Confirmation-related needs. Payment is due at the time of enrollment through the online registration form.

Volunteers needed! Boys and girls in the 4th through 12th grades, who are members of Bethany Lutheran Church or non-members who participate in one of Bethany's education programs (e.g. Kid's Bible Discovery, Christian Day School, or Confirmation classes) are eligible to participate.
